Curb Appeal Checklist
First Impressions are everything!
All property that sells well has these few things done for curb appeal to present any buyers with a fresh, clean appearance.
____ GROUNDS PATROL = Inspect the yard. Remove any trash, building materials, scrap materials and discarded household items, etc. A best bet would also be to store all garbage cans in the garage.
____ INSPECTON BY OWNER = Commonly done from the roof line down. Be sure the roof is free of moss and obstructions. Do the same with any gutters. Clear out any obstructions from windows such as overgrown shrubs, bushes, and/or trees. Take some time to clean up, or trim, those pesky out of control shrubs, bushses, and/or trees outside.
____ PAINT or SIDING INSPECTION = Maybe the outside could use some touching up with a paint brush or even a pressure wash to the siding to remove any dirt, mildew, and everyday grime build up on the outside.
____ PLANTS, FLOWERS, etc. = Take the time to make it look nice out in the front flower beds. Were there once flower beds there 4 years ago but you let them get away? Either cover with dirt and replant grass or upgrade and dig it back out and restore life to it by planting some shrubs or flowers. Buyers love to pull into a house and notice the vibrancy the outside has!
____ CRANK ON THE MOWER = Living there or not always keep the lawn free from weeds and groomed neatly. A buyer doesn’t like to look at something that will be an immediate task for them.
