Decatur County is known as “The Outdoor Capital of Tennessee.” TENNESSEE River/KENTUCKY Lake runs along the eastern and southern border of our county. The TN river boasts 50 miles of undeveloped beauty, for a great weekend getaway or an excellent place to retire for untold hours of fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, hunting and horseback riding among many other activities.
Parsons and Decaturville are located about half way between Nashville and Memphis. We are 15 to 20 miles from Interstate 40 and within 50 miles of Alabama and Mississippi.
